Hi everybody. It’s Christina Daves with this week’s Get Famous Friday PR Tip. I’m starting to incorporate some case studies into these tips so you can really see how they work. So I’m going to use myself as a case study this week.

I want to talk about the non-traditional holidays. I’ve shared that in a previous tip, but the media loves, loves, loves these. So as you know, my product is medical or fashion accessories for medical boots. And what I did is I pitched in April, National Healthy Foot Month and they loved it. So we tied it in with some other products. We’ve talked about that in other tips for productpreneurs, collaborating with other people is a great way to get in the media. But that’s a real holiday – National Healthy Foot Month – and they loved it. So look at those non-traditional holidays and see how you can tie your business in and don’t be afraid to pitch something like that. The media loves it.
