Hi, everyone. It’s Christina Daves with this week’s Get Famous Friday PR tip. This week’s tip is attending media events.

There are usually some kind of media events, “meet the media,” things like that where you can go, engage and interact, and start to build relationships with the media.

I recently went to one with the Washington Business Journal, and I’ve actually built a relationship with the editor, and I was able to interview him for a magazine article that I was writing. And, I met lots of other people and different topics, different spaces in the business journal. I have attended several media events – it’s a great way to meet the media and build relationships. So, check out your local community, do some Google searches, check with Meet Up and see if you can find something like that. I highly recommend you attend those.

So that is this week’s Get Famous Friday PR Tip. And if you liked that and would like to learn more, please join us in the free PR Challenge at www.YourPRChallenge.com. It’s 10 days, 10 minutes a day, and I will help you get massive visibility for your business. Can’t wait to see you there.
