Hey everybody. It’s Christina Daves with this week’s Get Famous Friday PR Tip. This week I want to talk about why it’s so important to have a good, strong, engaged social media following. You do not have to be on every platform. Be on one platform and do it really, really well. Post great content. Engage with your audience. Make sure they are engaging with you.
And the reason that’s so important is because now the media looks at that. If they have expert “A” or you as an expert, and expert “A” has 5,000 really engaged followers and you’re kind of all over the place and maybe you’re on every single platform, but you’ve got a hundred followers and nobody’s listening and nobody’s talking to you, they’re going to use this person because that helps them spread their message. So that’s why that’s so important that you really develop and engage a social media platform.
