About The Author

I have been an entrepreneur for over 20 years and have had a knack for discovering niche markets from service industries to consumer goods. I’ve done event planning, land development feasibility, owned a retail store, and now am the designer and manufacturer of MediFashions, which are award-winning accessories to make medical devices fashionable. There is so much research to support how a positive attitude affects the immune system and I truly believe that if you look good, you feel good, and then you heal better! I want the injured to have a better recovery by looking and healing their best and experiencing, The Healing Power of Fashion®.


Starting out after manufacturing MediFashions, I had no budget left for a PR campaign so I had to teach myself everything I could about the industry. I never even had a communications class in college so I had a lot to learn. I read every book and article I could find and scoured the Internet for information. In less than a year, I was able to receive extensive media coverage including three appearances on The Steve Harvey Show, appearances on Dr. Oz and local news affiliates of NBC, CBS, and FOX, numerous print and internet publications as well as radio interviews. I am asked all the time how I did it. So I’m compiling everything I learned and how I did it and starting a new website,, that will provide all kinds of information on how to do your own PR campaign.
